How nice everyone, I received a Bullet Journal today, I'm going on holiday first, then I want to start. I'm not very handy, but it seems like a lot of fun to start now. My question is, does Action sell items such as molds to start with?

    • Els says:

I don't use molds myself, so unfortunately I can't tell you that. The action does have very nice glue rollers and washi tape :-).

    Hi Els!

I just came across your post about the action bujo vs The action bujo on a FB bullet journal page, and I was curious about that! (I am already in my 3rd LT and have been working on the bullet journal concept for over a year now) and I immediately subscribed to your newsletter and your social media pages!?

What a clear and nice explanation you can give! And I see so many other fun creative topics?

Now that I'm temporarily at home and don't get outside much, I have enough time and mainly want to try some new things and this blog inspires me a lot!
Thank you in advance for that! ☺️

I hope to discover much more in the creative field?
    Greetings, Marije

Very nice weather, what you have already done with it, and your calligraphy already looks very good, take it from an old hand 😉 I did it too once, and did all my homework with a fountain pen, but then the calligrapher pens, hahahaha

    You're really doing great again!

  4. Karin says:

How nice does that look? Sometimes I don't have enough time, but I have now started again with fresh courage, so much fun to do!

How nice to see that you also have a bullet journal..
I myself am extremely addicted to it and regularly buy new complaints about it…
I'll try to write an article about it sometime...

  6. Connie says:

Very nice, Els. Looks nice already! I'm curious about the next news.??

  7. Michelle says:

It immediately looks so beautiful and neat on you! As if you've been keeping a Bullet Journal for years! I started one last year, but after two months I didn't think it was neat enough and it ended up in the cupboard. Last week I started a new one because I think it is ideal, an empty book that you can use entirely according to your own taste and interpretation.

  8. Marinda says:

Nicely done. My daughter and I also both bought a bullet journal last week. But I don't really know how to start.
Testing with those markers is already a useful start, right?

  9. Yolanda says:

Nice mood tracker! I also have a bullet journal, for personal things and also for my blog planning, really useful. But I don't have an expensive notebook because I'm afraid I won't dare write in it. I have a cheap Action ring binder notebook.

    • Els says:

For me it is a motivation to do something and then immediately buy such a book. But I understand, I found it difficult to start with a clean book ;-).

Yes, I have a bujo! A very large one for myself, in A4 size. And a small one for keeping track of our joint agreements. I also have a Happy Planner agenda, for fun. My bullet journal is really more of a journal (so I keep track of what happened afterwards, and less focused on using it as an agenda) and we really use our joint one for planning. My big bujo is now a year old and it's really fun to browse through. I'm very fickle so nothing is organized or anything. I also often change the layout and what I do or do not write down. That's what I like about having such a nice empty notebook to scribble in.

    • Els says:

I also have an agenda myself, I also use my book more as a journal. But my reason is more that I want to keep the book neat, I use an agenda for scratching ;-).

That does look nice! A test page for pens sounds useful 🙂
I'm not really a Bullet Journal type myself, I wouldn't know what to write in it. I recently saw someone passing by an Art Journal and that appealed to me a little more 😀

  12. Lieke says:

How nice to see that you are actually creating chapters! I think it works a lot better myself.
This way I first have all the annual overviews in a row, then the monthly overviews and only then the 52-week agenda.
Have fun with your bullet journal. Already looking beautiful!

  13. Myriam says:

What great ideas! I think a bullet journal like this would be great to reflect on yourself and be creative at the same time. I don't have the time for it at the moment, but I would like to work out some ideas, but not in a notebook. I have a small ring binder (pimped with all kinds of pictures & quotes that I like) in which I keep loose notes, lists, thoughts, etc. I regularly clean this up so that there is room for something new.

Your start already looks great! Beautifully drawn & conceived. I'm curious about the sequel... 🙂

  14. Very nice Els! And also great to read that my article convinced you! Have you started working on the trees yet ;)?

  15. Simone says:

How nice! I don't really care for a bullet journal myself, I don't really know what to do with it. Although I do enjoy seeing someone else's 🙂

  16. Jolanda says:

How much fun!! I would love to have one too, but unfortunately I don't have the time.

  17. Romy says:

Your bullet journal already looks really nice! I think it would be very nice and relaxing to keep track of something like this. And how beautifully drawn, that polar bear!

  18. Ed Buysman says:

I think and hope that by the end of the month your mood tracker will mainly be colored light blue. In any case, the whole article strikes me as very enthusiastic. Keep it up.
And then; I make many patterns for various creations and therefore also work a lot with colored fineliners. But I sometimes notice that they run out quite quickly. So recently I don't put them away when I'm done with them, but I put them away (cap on first) with the point down in an old glass. That really makes a difference. Who knows, someone might have something to recommend this one.

  19. What a nice mood tracker. Really nicely made and it's clever that you also made chapters.

I would really appreciate a response to this article :)
