Bullet journal #3: New pages and the month of February elaborated
In my bullet journal I work with 3 different chapters: my blog, annual overviews and months (see first bullet journal article for explanation). I will show my new pages per chapter :-).
Page “ideas for my blog”
To write down different ideas for my blog, I found it useful to create a page in my bullet journal. I just didn't want a standard list. Because when someone gets an idea in a comic, a light often comes on near their head, so I drew several lights to write down my ideas in.
Chapter Annual Reviews
I want to record my weight every week. Not that I really want to diet, but I would like to keep this weight or slightly less :-).
First I pasted a colored background onto the page I wanted to use. It took me a while to figure out how I wanted to make the division, because 52 weeks is not very useful in a rectangle. But in the end I ended up with 6, 8×5 and 6 boxes. Unfortunately, I made a few mistakes when drawing the boxes. Fortunately, I was working with a loose leaf that I eventually glued to the colored background with a glue roller from the action.
Month of February
Mood tracker February
In January I also made a mood tracker. I want to repeat this every month, but in a different way. For February I also chose a circle, but this time I made it more elaborate. Instead of one feeling per day, I wanted to be able to keep track of 3 feelings per day. I also chose to use more feelings and therefore more colors.
Tip: unfortunately I made a mistake. I drew one line of the division of the circle too long :-(. To hide this a bit, I pasted a piece of paper from another page over that line. This way you can see it a little less. Still, I think it's a shame.
Before January I had not been able to create this page, I had opted for other pages. For February I thought it would be fun to make and maintain a sleep tracker. To prevent overprinting and ghosting, I first looked for a background. I wanted something dark. I found a black page with white and gold stars in an old Rituals magazine.
Page weekend away Zeeland
This month my boyfriend and I went to Kamperland for a weekend. I thought it would be fun to make a spread about this in my bullet journal. I start by printing out Zeeland and I placed it behind the pages of the spread. This way I could trace this. Drawing a province by hand was a bit too difficult for me.
Then I tore several sheets from magazines with forest, grass and water. I glued this onto my spread. Because I found the map of Zeeland a bit boring, I colored it with pencils.
Finally I added the various photos from the holiday :-). I had the small photos printed at HEMA and the larger photo with horses comes from my new one photo printer the HP Sprocket.
If you keep a bullet journal, what is your favorite tracker?
