Bullet journal #12: November, forest/outdoor theme
Today another extensive article about my bullet journal. I have worked out the month of November. This time I chose the forest/outdoor theme. Fitting with our holiday we had this month. Curious? Then read on :-).
I came across the basic idea for this cover on Pinterest. Of course I gave the example my own twist. The original was black and white. I chose to color everything with colored pencils. I also drew stars with a white gel pen.
Mood tracker November
For this month I chose the quote “let's go on an adventure”. First I drew the quote in pencil. I then traced this with a black fineliner. Because I found the page still a bit empty, I also drew grass and two trees to match the theme.
Still I wasn't happy, in the trees and grass I saw lines from the next page. You can still see them in the grass. To no longer see this in the trees, I stuck a colored sheet of paper on the trees and colored it again. The page is still not perfect, but it is better now :-).
Photos of the month
I made the “photos of the month” page in the style of the cover. I drew the sky and ground with colored pencils. The word “photos of the month” is written with a white gel pen and black fineliner. To bring back the wood of the quote on the previous page, I made a kind of Polaroids. Photos will also be included soon.
The 'photos of the month' page does not have that many photos this month. This is because we also went on holiday for a week this month. This is how the page turned out:
Holiday page CenterParcs
At the beginning of the month we went to CenterParcs Les Trois Forêts for a week. Of course I also incorporated this into my bullet journal. The basis this time is quite simple compared to my previous holiday pages, Zeeland and Friesland.
I wrote the title with black fineliners. I made the green stickers myself, you can read the complete explanation in DIY #41: Easily make your own stickers with the Action.
