Crafts: Wrapping presents
Presents are nice to receive but also nice to give. When I give a present, I try to wrap it nicely (I'm not yet as experienced as some of you). Today I will show you what I bought as a present, how I wrapped the present and give some tips :-).
If you go on a maternity visit, you will of course receive a gift. My niece had a daughter. So I could get started :-). I bought a dress, a shirt and socks at HEMA. The socks matched the shirt well as you can see.
I wrapped the presents in tissue paper (you will see with other gifts that I am a fan of this 😉 and then put them in a gift bag (Hema). I hung a homemade felt horse on the bag. And of course I also wrote a card. I also made this myself (see previous article: make your own cards with felt).
Birthday present for a man/boy
I always find gifts for men and boys difficult. Not only the buying, but also the nice packaging. I usually buy a gift voucher, something tasty and some scratch cards. Isn't that what every man wants ;-)?
I put everything together in a preserving jar with a bow around it.
Gift as a surprise
I had a competition on my blog in May because my blog was 2 years old. The winner won a package with various small gifts.
To surprise the winner even more, I wrapped everything and decorated it with a birthday and thank you theme. I used wrapping paper, different types of ribbon, washi tape, paper for the flags and stickers.
Tip: Do you have many different gifts and do you want unity? Then wrap and decorate the presents with the same colors.
A small thank you
I wanted to surprise a colleague of mine. This colleague also regularly surprises me. So a small thank you was in order :-). I made one specially dog and felt elephant. I also added a few little things.
I grabbed a gift box (see earlier article how I did this gift box decorated with washi tape), I put tissue paper in it again together with the presents.
Finally, I added a label to the box and the thank you note was ready :-).
A friend is pregnant and a baby shower was organized for that. I bought an animal piano.
I thought it would be nice to wrap this up a bit. I still had foil stickers lying around and they look extra nice on black.
A homemade label and the present is wrapped :-).
