Crochet #2: Practice, practice and practice!
At the end of December I wrote an article about it my first crochet lesson and showed some crocheted animals that I had made. I'm not a natural at crocheting, so I have to keep practicing! In this article new easy crochet projects that I have made. I'm curious what you think :-).
On the website troetelsenzo.blogspot.nl I found a pattern for making a hippopotamus. I thought this was so cute that I wanted to make it. When I looked at the pattern I saw that they were all stitches that I already knew. So on to Action for wool, I chose the color mint. I really enjoyed crocheting this hippo :-).
Several people gave me the tip to crochet a little larger. I chose this giraffe (pattern from Aldi). I was busy with it for a while, but it was fun to do again :-). The most difficult part for me was attaching the head to this giraffe. The back is not that nice. To get rid of this I simply attached a stain to it ;-).
At the end of December I participated #Twhite Christmas. I received a super nice booklet for crocheting small animals. First I crocheted this donkey. But I can tell you now. I'm going to crochet more from the book. The booklet is called “Crochet super sweet mini animals yourself” and was written by Maja Hansen. I recently saw the book at Boekenvoordeel.
