Making cards #26: Classic birth announcements
Make your own birth announcements
As you may already know, I am a fan of making things myself. Making cards yourself is also one of my creative hobbies. Today I'll show you how I made 4 different classic birth announcements. I chose the standard pink for girls and blue cards for boys :-).
For these cards I used the following craft supplies and followed the following steps:
Take a blank card (bought at the promotion). I glued a design onto it with prit paper. This paper came from a paper block from Action. I made a frame or background with colored paper (bought at Action). I glued this onto the paper with the design. Then I glued some ribbons onto my card. I chose to put a white frame on my card. I cut this out of thicker white paper and stuck it to the card with double-sided tape.
Then I stamped with waterproof ink and clear stamps (bought from AliExpress) on thicker paper. I colored these prints with my Action Twin Markers. I then cut it out of the paper and adhered it to the card with foam tape.
Of course I also wanted a congratulations on the card. I made this myself with silver transfer foil. For a detailed explanation read my previous article about transfer foil. Oh yes, it's easier than you think :-). I also stuck this on with foam tape.
How do you prefer classic or modern cards?
