Cleaning up my craft supplies v2.0
It finally happened last month. On Wednesday I already posted an article with photos from the month of June, which showed that I have finally moved and can enjoy a BBQ in the garden. Of course, that also included a different method of storing art supplies because now I finally have the space. Last year I posted a first article about my craft supplies, today the improved version 2.0 :-).
The cupboard you see is from IKEA, the PAX cupboard. Actually it's a wardrobe ;-). But of course that doesn't matter. The cupboard is very easy to organize and has various options. This does not apply to the delivery of the cupboard, delivery 3 hours late (a quarter past 8 in the evening), 1 item forgotten, broken shelf and one drawer damaged. Replacement took 10 working days… *frustration mode off*
Laying it out was a real treat. I've never had so much space. I'm now using the bottom half of the cabinet. Yes, my friend wants some too ;-). The top shelf holds my felt, stuffing and fabrics. The bins you see come from Action. These fit next to each other 3 times. Super handy and you can also clearly see what is in the bins.
The first drawer actually contains general things. Such as my folder with patterns, notebooks, craft books, pencil case, markers and coloring books. I bought the boxes you see on the left at IKEA. I love organization and containers and compartments as you can see :-).
The 2nd drawer, even more compartments :-). At first I had my loose craft supplies in different bins. This was not clear at all. Now I have everything in this drawer. All washi tapes, embroidery thread, stamps, glues, wool, etc. in one compartment. I seriously think this will save me money. At a glance I can see that I still have way too much ;-).
The bottom shelf is for things that I want to make or use again. Think of vases, ready-made craft kits and other items that seem useful to me.
How do you store everything neatly?
What do you think of my layout? Do you also have your own system for tidying things up?
