Review: Action DIY Easter Garland
Action DIY Easter garland, first impression
The Action DIY Easter garland cost me €0.99. There were several sets in various colors. I chose the black and white version. I think this fits nicely in our house.
The contents of the package are almost complete. The box contains wooden beads, string, wax cord, pictures, needle and instructions. All you need is something to hang the garland with (think washi tape) and scissors.
The packaging contains a short instruction, but it is actually self-explanatory. Making the garland is very easy and done in no time :-).
First make a thick knot on one side of the wax cord. Thick enough so that the beads do not slide off the cord. Then string the beads onto the cord. This goes quickly with the needle.
Once you have threaded all the beads onto the cord, make another thick knot.
The most fun thing for me was hanging the images on the garland with the rope. I chose to do the first Easter egg after 5 wooden beads, then I added 6 beads between the images. This way they are neatly distributed.
The end result
The end result was exactly as I expected :-). It is a complete package and also easy to make. I am very happy with it and immediately attached the garland to the shelf behind our sofa. Every time I adjust the board to holidays or a season.
You can also see one on my Easter shelf embroidered bunny and a felt gift bag in the shape of an Easter bunny. I made these myself and you can find the patterns and explanations for free on my blog :-).
